Infinite Level game discussed: What Hides in Dreams

Of course I had to talk about my methods of scaring the player eventually! I am making a horror game after all. This devlog goes over how I think about and approach scares in my game, from the minor creaks in the walls all the way to the monster attacking the player. Here you’ll see examples of how I setup scares, maintain tension, and deliver a final fright while also talking scare scope and level design. A lot to chew on for this video!
